Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller will have surgery on his torn ACL on Wednesday, according to a report.

Miller sustained the injury in his side's win over the Houston Texans as he fell awkwardly on the field after colliding with offensive lineman Derek Newton.

Doctors were forced to wait for the swelling from the knee to abate before the surgery could take place, and now that it has happened, he will undergo the operation on Wednesday, reports ESPN.

Miller had five sacks on the season for the Broncos in nine games this season.
