Half-Time Report: Cole Beasley hands Dallas Cowboys advantage against Chicago Bulls

Cole Beasley's touchdown with eight seconds remaining gives the Dallas Cowboys a 14-7 lead over the Chicago Bears.

Cole Beasley's touchdown in the final minute of the first half has given the Dallas Cowboys a 14-7 lead over the Chicago Bulls at the half-time interval.

Tony Romo and Jay Cutler both struggled to convert long drives into scores in the first quarter as each of the first five drives ended with punts.

Chicago's defense continued to impress early in the second quarter, but the Cowboys finally found the breakthrough with a trademark effort from DeMarco Murray.

The Cowboys twice converted on fourth down through Murray, who followed a four-yard rush by forcing his way into the endzone just over two minutes later.

However, Cutler would lead an immediate response from the Bears by finishing an eight-yard rush by picking out the run of Martellus Bennett as the Bears made it 7-7.

Dallas piled the pressure on in the latter stages of the first half, and Chicago were unable to hold off the visitors when Beasley collected a pass from Romo before evading two tackles to stretch into the endzone.
