Dennis Pitta delighted with "special" return

Baltimore Ravens tight end Dennis Pitta reveals that he was delighted to return to action for the first time this season to help his side beat the Minnesota Vikings.

Baltimore Ravens tight end Dennis Pitta has admitted that it was "special" for him to return to action following a hip injury with a thrilling win over the Minnesota Vikings.

The 28-year-old played his first game since the Super Bowl after four months out with a dislocated hip injury he sustained during his side's training camp.

"I remember when I got injured, I didn't know if I was even going to play football again," Pitta told the club's official website.

"So being able to stand here and talk about a victory and being a part of that is special for me. And just being a part of this team and being able to fight the way we did today is pretty remarkable."

The Ravens moved to 7-6 with their remarkable win over the Vikings as four touchdowns were scored in the last two minutes of the game.
