Liverpool to give up on Adam Lallana?

Liverpool are reportedly ready to give up on signing Southampton midfielder Adam Lallana.

The England international, 26, has been linked with a £25m move to Anfield following an impressive campaign for the Saints last season.

However, the Merseysiders are thought to be growing impatient because they want a deal to be finalised sooner rather than later.

The Reds could now look elsewhere for a midfielder if the Saints continue to mull over the transfer, according to ESPN.

Lallana is currently with the England squad out in Miami for two World Cup warm-up matches.
