Liverpool make a final offer of £25m for Southampton midfielder Adam Lallana, according to reports.

Liverpool have reportedly made a final offer of £25m for Southampton midfielder Adam Lallana.

Both clubs have been unable to come to terms on a deal, with the Saints rejecting an offer of £20m from the Reds for the England international earlier this month.

According to Sky Sports News, Liverpool have come back with an improved offer and hope to complete a deal before the World Cup.

The report goes on to say that Rickie Lambert will be confirmed as a Liverpool player on Monday, as he prepares to undergo a medical this weekend.

Lallana started for England as they claimed a 3-0 win over Peru on Friday evening.
