David Stockdale looking to maintain Brighton home form

Brighton & Hove Albion goalkeeper David Stockdale believes that maintaining his side's home form will be key to keeping up their challenge for automatic promotion.

Brighton & Hove Albion goalkeeper David Stockdale has talked up the importance of maintaining his side's impressive home form until the end of the season.

The Seagulls have won their last four home league games, scoring 12 goals in the process to keep themselves in amongst the automatic playoff race in the Championship.

They now face Sheffield Wednesday and Reading in back-to-back games at the Amex, and Stockdale is eager to keep their recent run going with five top-half teams left to face in their final six home outings of the season.

"We've got a great away record as well but at home we have to keep going. If we carry on what we're doing we will be right in there," he told the Argus.

Brighton currently sit in fourth place, just four points off leaders Burnley and three adrift of the automatic promotion places.
