Norwich City winger Sergi Canos to return to Brentford on permanent deal?

Norwich City winger Sergi Canos is reportedly on the verge of returning to Brentford following last season's loan spell.

The 19-year-old had a positive stint at Griffin Park in the 2015-16 campaign, scoring seven goals for the Bees in 20 Championship appearances, 18 of which were starts.

The Spaniard has struggled to earn a regular spot in Norwich's first team this season, making just six appearances in all competitions following his switch from Liverpool last July.

According to Sky Sports News, a fee of £2.5m has been agreed between Norwich and Brentford and now the player is due to undergo a medical ahead of a deal, which needs to be completed before tonight's 11pm deadline.

Norwich currently sit eighth in the Championship, while Brentford reside 10 points below in 15th spot.
