Phil Neville dismisses speculation linking him with Blackburn Rovers move

Phil Neville denies rumours that he and David Moyes could return to England to take the reins at Blackburn Rovers.

Valencia coach Phil Neville has played down speculation that he and David Moyes could take over at Blackburn Rovers.

Blackburn are without a manager following Gary Bowyer's recent sacking, and former Manchester United manager Moyes has been linked with the post after being dismissed as Real Sociedad boss.

Neville and Moyes worked together when at Everton, but the former has denied that the duo are interested in returning to England with Rovers.

He fielded questions on his official Twitter account this afternoon, and when asked by one user if he and Moyes were taking over at Blackburn, Neville simply replied "No".

Former Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert is reportedly keen on taking over at Blackburn and currently odds-on favourite to succeed Bowyer.
