Result: Artur Taymazov wins 120kg freestyle gold

Uzbekistan's Artur Taymazov wins his third consecutive Olympic gold medal in the men's 120kg freestyle wrestling final.

Uzbekistan's Artur Taymazov has won gold in the men's 120kg freestyle wrestling final this evening.

Taymazov beat Georgia's Davit Modzmanashvili in the gold medal bout, winning the first round 1-0 before taking the second with the same score.

The gold is Taymazov's third consecutive Olympic success in the event, having also picked up gold in Athens and Beijing - making him Uzbekistan's most decorated Olympian.

Iran's Komeil Ghasemi and Russia's Bilyal Makhov both claimed bronze in the two third-place bouts.
