Alina Stadnik has clinched victory in the women's 69kg freestyle wrestling final to deliver Ukraine their first gold of the European Games.
After beating Martina Kuenz of Austria in the quarter-finals earlier in the day, Stadnik ensured that she would be competing for the gold by earning a 3-1 win over Germany's Aline Focken.
It was a similar story in the final as Stadnik dominated against Israel's Ilana Kratysh to claim another 3-1 triumph and force her rival to settle for the silver medal.
Kratysh had earlier won her semi-final against Russian wrestler Natalia Vorobeva, who joined Focken in claiming bronze for their respective nations.
