Elvin Mursaliyev takes Greco-Roman 75kg gold for Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan wrestler Elvin Mursaliyev takes gold in the men's Greco-Roman 75kg to continue the host nation's fine run at the 2015 European Games.

Elvin Mursaliyev has defeated Viktor Nemes in the men's Greco-Roman 75kg final to claim yet another gold for Azerbaijan at the European Games.

The home nation, who now have 12 medals overall, had 2008 World Junior Championship winner Mursaliyev to thank for the success, after he claimed a 3-1 win over his Serbian opponent.

Dmytro Pyshkov of the Ukraine and Russian Federation's Chingiz Labazanov took bronze to add to their respective nations tallies at Baku 2015.

Russia were victorious in the 66kg discipline a little earlier today, meanwhile, with Artem Surkov coming out on top.
