Great Britain's Justin Phillips hopes that ParalympicsGB can keep up the momentum after the men's sitting volleyball team made it into the quarter-finals at London 2012.

Great Britain's Justin Phillips believes that the home support can help push the men's sitting volleyball team into the semi-finals of the Paralympic Games.

The host nation managed to secure a spot in the quarter-finals, despite suffering a 3-0 defeat to Germany this morning.

"It's brilliant," the Maidenhead Advertiser quotes Phillips as saying. "We needed this win to get through to the quarter-finals so to get it is fantastic.

"Hopefully we can use this momentum and push ourselves on. We've worked for the last three years to get where we are now. Hopefully more crowds will come and cheer us on and we will get as far as we can."

ParalympicsGB make it through to the final eight following one victory over Morocco and defeats to Russia, Egypt and Germany in Pool A.
