Great Britain's Liam Pitchford progresses to quarter-final

Team GB table tennis player Liam Pitchford qualifies for the European Games quarter-final with victory over Slovakia's Wang Yang.

Great Britain's Liam Pitchford has won his table tennis singles third-round match against Slovakia's Wang Yang.

Pitchford strolled into a 3-0 lead, but Wang won games four and five.

The 21-year-old won game six 14-12 to claim a 4-2 victory and set up a match against Ukraine's Lei Kou.

Pitchford won two Commonwealth Games silver medals in 2014.
