England into mixed doubles last 16

England have advanced through to the last 16 of the table tennis mixed doubles having come from behind to beat India at Glasgow 2014.

Sam Walker and Karina le Fevre trailed 2-1 in the best-of-five contest, but battled back to win 3-2 at the Scotstoun Sports Campus.

The first set went the way of India, but England levelled in the second recording a 12-10 scoreline.

Poulomi Ghatak and Soumuajit Ghosh were soon back ahead, however, winning the third set 8-11. But England rallied to take the following two sets 11-1 and 11-8 in a far more convincing manner.
