American swimmer Katie Ledecky insists that she still has "a way to go" to meet her goals, despite winning four individual events at the World Swimming Championships.

Katie Ledecky has insisted that she still has "a way to go" to meet her goals, despite breaking two world records and winning four individual medals at the World Swimming Championships in Russia.

The 18-year-old American claimed victory in the 200m, 400m, 800m, and 1500m freestyle events, taking almost four seconds off her own world record in the 800m final.

The Olympic 800m freestyle champion told NBC Sports: "I set very high goals a couple years ago. I've a little bit of a way to go still. I'm chipping away at those goals."

Ledecky also won gold as part of the American team in the 4x200m freestyle relay.
