Great Britain swimmer Chloe Tutton: 'I would have preferred completely clean Olympics'

Great Britain swimmer Chloe Tutton has described the Rio Olympics as not "completely clean" after Russia's Yulia Efimova finished ahead of her in the 200m breaststroke.

Efimova, who was allowed to compete after appealing against a doping ban, took silver in Thursday's event, pushing Tutton into fourth place and denying the Welsh 20-year-old a medal.

Tutton told reporters after the race: "I would've preferred it to have been a completely clean Games. I couldn't help who was here. I'm not happy with it, but that's how it is."

Rie Kaneto won Japan's seventh gold medal at Rio 2016 to beat Efimova into silver, while China's Shi Jinglin won bronze, just six one-hundreths of a second ahead of Tutton.
