Sascha Kindred, Thomas Young qualify for SB7 men's 100m breaststroke final

British swimmers Sascha Kindred and Thomas Young have qualified for the final of the SB7 men's breaststroke final in comfortable fashion.

Both men were in the second heat and finished behind world record holder Blake Cochrane, who swam a new Games record in 1:20.76.

Kindred was second in a time of 1:23.59 and Young third in 1:24.90.

In the first heat Japan's Tomotaro Nakamura finished first with a time of 1:22.45.

The final takes place at the Aquatics Centre at 8.20pm tonight.
