Great Britain's Emma Hollis misses out on a spot in the women's SM8 200m medley final after finishing sixth in her heat.

Great Britain's Paralympic swimmer Emma Hollis has failed to secure a place in the women's SM8 200m medley final.

The British hopeful, who recently fractured her foot, struggled to keep up with her opponents in the pool at the Aquatics Centre, which resulted in a last-place finish.

Hollis recorded a time of 3:28.90 in the first heat of the 200m medley, while Russia's Olesya Vladykina finished the race in 2:48.69.

Meanwhile, US swimmer Jessica Long set a new Paralympic record of 2:40.42 in the second heat, which gives her pole position in tonight's final.
