Sascha Kindred admits that he might not compete in the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.

SM6 200m medley silver medal winner Sascha Kindred has admitted that he is unsure if he will compete at the next Paralympic Games in Rio.

Kindred lost a 200m medley final for the first time this century and has revealed that he is considering his future in swimming.

"I have no plans at the moment," The Telegraph quotes Kindred as saying. "My coach and I will sit down and decide it at a later date.

"I feel a little relieved that my main event is out of the way. There has been a lot of pressure on my shoulders.

"I'm saddened that I didn't get top spot, but I did my best performance on the biggest stage, so I'm happy with that."

Kindred lost the gold medal and his world record by almost three seconds in tonight's final.
