Kindred takes SM6 200m medley silver

Great Britain's Sascha Kindred has won silver in the SM6 200m medley in a European record time.

Kindred beat his own world record with his time of 2:41.50 but China's Xu Qing was just too good.

Xu smashed the world record in a time of 2:38.62 after powering home in the final 50m with the pair fairly close at the turn.

Xu's compatriot Zheng Tao claimed bronze but he was some way behind his fellow medallists, clocking a time of 2:44.38.
