Team GB duo Kyle Chisholm, Joe Litchfield miss out on 200m butterfly final place

Great Britain's Kyle Chisholm and Joe Litchfield have missed out on a place in the final of the men's 200m butterfly at the European Games.

Chisholm placed in sixth in heat two as he recorded a time of 2:02.32, which left him in 12th place overall.

Litchfield finished narrowly behind his teammate in the same heat as he finished seventh in a time of 2:02.59, finishing two seconds off the qualification pace.

The Russian Federation's Daniil Pakhomov recorded the fastest time of qualifying ahead of the final on Thursday.
