Great Britain's Rebecca Sherwin qualifies for 200m backstroke final

Great Britain's Rebecca Sherwin has qualified for the 200m backstroke final at the European Games.

She recorded a time of 2:16.50 to finish third in the first semi-final, and that was enough to progress in sixth overall.

Italy's Martina Rossi set the quickest time at 2:12.72.

The final will take place on Thursday evening.
