Dave Roberts omitted from swimming squad

Paralympian swimmer Dave Roberts has not been named in the Great British swimming squad for the Paralympics in London later this year.

The 31-year-old has previously claimed 11 gold medals at the Games.

However, he failed to make the 50m and 100m freestyle time at the trials in Sheffield at the weekend.

As a result, Roberts will now miss his first Games since 2000 in Sydney.
