Daniel Fox has broken the world record in the men's 200m freestyle S14 para-swimming heat at the Commonwealth Games this morning.

The Australian completed the distance in 1:57.16, finishing over four seconds ahead of compatriot Mitchell Kilduff, who was second.

England's Thomas Hamer came third, just 0.03 seconds quicker than Welsh swimmer Jack Thomas.

The final of the S14 event takes place this evening.
