Robertson sets up Trump quarter-final

World number one Neil Robertson beat Mark Allen 13-7 at The Crucible on Monday to set up a World Championship quarter-final with Judd Trump.

The Australian trailed 7-6 before winning seven frames in a row to advance to face 2011 runner-up Trump, who was victor over Ryan Day by the same scoreline.

Defending champion Ronnie O'Sullivan is also in the last-eight draw, with 2005 champion Shaun Murphy his next test as he goes chasing a third straight title.

Murphy disposed of Fu 13-8 to book his first meeting with 'The Rocket' since their match at the same stage of the 2011 Championship, where O'Sullivan prevailed 13-10 in a tense contest.

Experienced Welshman Dominic Dale has qualified for the quarter-finals for the first time since 2000, recording a comprehensive 13-4 victory over Michael Wasley. He will now face Barry Hawkins.

Mark Selby against Alan McManus completes the last-eight lineup.
