Australia's Neil Robertson wins the 2022 Masters, comfortably defeating Barry Hawkins by a 10-4 in Sunday's final at Alexandra Palace.

Neil Robertson has won the Masters title for a second time, recording a 10-4 victory over Barry Hawkins in Sunday's final.

The Australian has enjoyed an eventful tournament, beating Ronnie O'Sullivan in the quarter-finals before dramatically edging out Mark Williams in the last four.

However, the 39-year-old had a simpler time against Hawkins, whose only real success in a one-sided final came through sharing the opening four frames.

Robertson posted a 105 break in the midst of that period of play, and multiple clearances in excess of 50 helped him open up an 8-4 advantage.

A 114 break - the highest of the contest - put him one away from a second Masters crown, and he was able to cruise through the final frame to secure a commanding win.

Robertson's success comes off the back of reaching the World Grand Prix final before Christmas, while Hawkins is runner-up for the second time in his career after also reaching the 2016 final.
