Team GB's Ling wins bronze in trap shooting

Ed Ling has won Great Britain's third medal of the Rio Olympics by securing bronze in the men's trap shooting.

The 33-year-old, from Somerset, beat the Czech Republic's David Kostelecky 13-9 after a shoot-off with Egypt's Ahmed Kamar.

Earlier Ling had qualified for the bronze-medal match having finished fourth in a six-man battle for spots in the final, with two missed shots from his last five costing him dearly.

The medal is Team GB's 44th in Olympic shooting history.
