Great Britain's men claim gold, silver at World Shooting Championships

Great Britain's men win gold and silver at the World Shooting Championships, while Tim Kneale qualifies for the 2016 Rio Olympics.

Great Britain's men have grabbed gold and silver at the World Championships in Italy.

Tim Kneale, Matt Coward-Holley and Matt French won team gold in the men's double trap event in Lonato with scores of 142, 135 and 137 respectively.

Kneale also secured an individual silver medal, which in turn resulted in qualification for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

"It's unbelievable," Team GB's official website quotes Kneale as saying. "The journey I have been on knowing I need to get on the World Class Programme and then win a spot for Rio has been tough, but to actually pull it off is amazing."

At the weekend, Britain's women won gold in the team trap event.
