GB's Hannah Pugsley wins shooting silver at European Championships

Great Britain's Hannah Pugsley grabbed a silver medal in the 300m prone rifle final at the European Championships in Maribor on Monday.

The 23-year-old was in contention for gold when she was equal to Germany's Lisa Mueller on a score of 594, but she missed out after an inner-10 tie-break.

"When I finished, I knew I'd shot the best I could," BBC Sport quotes Pugsley as saying. "It's my highest score in an international at this standard."

During the Championships, Britain's men's team clinched double tap gold, while the women's skeet team came home with a bronze medal.
