Italian shooters claim mixed team 10m air rifle gold

Italy have secured their sixth gold medal at the European Games in Baku with victory in the mixed team 10m air rifle event this afternoon.

Petra Zublasing and Niccolo Campriani edged out Denmark pairing Stine Nielsen and Steffen Olsen in the gold medal match, recording a 5-4 win.

Daria Vdovina and Sergey Kruglov of Russian Federation claimed the final spot on the podium, beating Serbia duo Andrea Arsovic and Milutin Stefanovic in the bronze medal shootoff 5-3.

The gold is the second of the games for Zublasing, who also won the 50m rifle three positions event last week.
