Cuban wins men's 25m pistol gold

Cuba's Leuris Pupo has won gold in the men's 25m rapid-fire pistol final.

Pupo held the advantage from the third round and he finished four points ahead of India's Vijay Kumar to win gold, with China's Feng Ding taking the bronze.

Pupo scored consecutive fives early on in the final and he matched the scores of his nearest competitors to lead by two points going into the final two rounds.

He maintained that advantage going into the final round, and Kumar could only score two points with his final effort to hand Pupo the victory.
