Wenjun Guo wins gold with last shot in air pistol final

China's Wenjun Guo has won the gold medal in the women's 10m air pistol final.

Guo was trailing as three players contested the gold medal on the final shot, but she scored 10.8 points on her final shot to seal gold in dramatic fashion.

France's Celine Goberville and Ukraine's Olena Kostevych tied for second place, before Goberville sealed silver in a shootout, leaving Kostevych to take bronze.

Kostevych had taken an early lead in the final, but fell to third at the halfway stage as she was overtaken by Guo and Goberville.

Goberville held a 0.5-point lead going into the last shot, but she was forced to settle to silver as Guo sealed victory.
