GB men's sailing team beat Germany in final of Grand Challenge Cup

Great Britain's men secured victory over Germany in the Grand Challenge Cup final at Henley Royal Regatta over the weekend.

The eight-strong team claimed the title at Leander and Molesey Boat Club by two-and-three-quarter lengths.

"It makes us really positive and confident that we can perform when it matters," BBC Sport quotes team member Alex Gregory as saying.

Britain are due to compete in the World Cup in Lucerne later this month.
