Worcester Warriors sign Ospreys flanker Sam Lewis

Worcester Warriors have confirmed the signing of flanker Sam Lewis from Ospreys.

The 24-year-old makes the move after the Welsh club accepted his request to be released from his contract.

"Sam is a player who has experienced the highest level of club rugby from a young age and is now hungry to continue his development within a successful environment," Warriors coach Dean Ryan told the club's official website.

"We are creating a competitive culture throughout our whole squad and, by integrating players of Sam's calibre, that will only intensify as time goes on."

Lewis's last appearance for Ospreys was back on February 13.
