Biarritz Olympique overcome Worcester Warriors 19-15

A last-minute Tanguy Molcard try turns the tide as Biarritz Olympique beat Worcester Warriors 19-15.

Worcester Warriors have been beaten 15-19 by Biarritz Olympique in the Amlin Challenge Cup this evening.

Tanguy Molcard's 79th-minute try crushed the Warriors, who were seconds away from a win.

Dean Hammond scored a try after 25 minutes before Alex Grove added one seven minutes later. Chris Pennell converted for the home side with the second after failing at the first attempt.

However, the French side were back in it minutes after Grove's try, when Taku Ngwenya went over the line and Julien Peyrelongue converted his first of the evening.

Yann Lesgourgues then scored a try before Peyrelongue was on target once again to put the visitors ahead.

With Biarritz looking likely to claim a narrow win, Pennell struck a late penalty to tip the balance back in his side's favour.

However, Molcard went over the line late on to give the visitors the win.
