Worcester complete Richard Muagututia capture

Worcester Warriors have signed Samoan international Richard Muagututia from Upolu Samoa.

Coach Richard Hill has said that he is delighted with the number eight's capture.

"He's a young player who will be experiencing club rugby outside Samoa for the very first time," he told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"In many ways, Richard is similar to Ravai Fatiaki, who we will also welcome after the Rugby World Cup and he was very highly recommended by Brian Lima.

"Richard is a big talent. This is a big opportunity for him and, if he can make an impression and prove himself, then we will look to contract him for even longer.”

Kai Horstmann is currently the only number eight available to Hill.
