Saracens beat Harlequins to go top

The home side dominated the first half, as Chris Ashton, George Kruis and Owen Farrell all added to the score in the opening 40 minutes.

However, Quins were given hope at the start of the second half when Steve Borthwick was shown a yellow card for a late tackle.

The move was an attempt to stop Sam Smith from scoring the second try of the game for the visitors, but Bothwick's efforts were in vain, leaving Saracens just 10 points ahead.

Saracens resumed control once they were back up to 15 men, resulting in further tries for Jacques Burger and Marcelo Bosch, lifting the team back above Northampton Saints, who lost earlier today.
