Mark McCall "thrilled" by dominant Saracens display

Mark McCall admits that Saracens will take a great deal of confidence away from their crushing 78-7 victory over London Welsh in the Aviva Premiership.

Saracens director of rugby Mark McCall has praised his players following what he described as a "clinical performance" against London Welsh.

The Allianz Park outfit racked up 11 tries this afternoon in a crushing 78-7 win to climb into the top four of the Aviva Premiership table.

Following the one-sided affair, McCall told reporters: "It's a job well done. It was a clinical performance. Sometimes when you've got what you want at half time it's easy to take your foot off the gas and do the wrong things.

"It can be scrappy, but the second half was probably better than the first half. We scored some good tries. Obviously we're thrilled to get the five points, and a bit of confidence obviously as well."

Saracens will be looking to build on today's victory when they face Newcastle Falcons next weekend.
