Mark McCall: 'Saracens deserved defeat'

Saracens director of rugby Mark McCall admits that he has no complaints with his side's defeat to Bath on Friday night.

Saracens director of rugby Mark McCall has admitted that Bath deserved their victory over his side in the Aviva Premiership on Friday night.

Sarries were beaten for the first time this season as they went down 11-21 at the Recreation Ground.

Despite seeing his team come away from the West Country with nothing to show for their efforts, McCall concedes that the hosts were worthy winners.

"We are disappointed with the result, obviously," he is quoted as saying by BBC Sport. "Bath are a very good team. They are well coached, they've got good players and give them a lot of credit, I thought they played very well."

Saracens continue their league campaign next Saturday when they entertain Gloucester Rugby.
