Ben Spencer: Saracens "brilliant" in LV= Cup final

Saracens scrum-half Ben Spencer has praised the team after their LV= Cup final win over Exeter Chiefs.

Spencer put a penalty through the posts with the last kick of the game to give Saracens a 23-20 victory at Franklin's Gardens.

"During those last 10 minutes, we were fighting for everything, a few decisions didn't go our way," Spencer told Sky Sports News.

"In those last few minutes, to put pressure on Exeter like that from the lineout and then to get that penalty at the end was just brilliant."

Saracens led the match 20-6 with 20 minutes remaining but Exeter staged a late comeback before Spencer scored the vital points to take victory.
