Wasps have lost their ninth consecutive Aviva Premiership game after a 46-34 defeat to Sale Sharks.
The hosts took the lead thanks to Sam Tuitupou's try before Nick Macleod kicked over the first of his five conversions.
Three penalties from Elliot Daly fired the hosts in front before Dwayne Peel touched down to put Sale back in the driving seat.
Dominic Waldouck's try gave the visitors some hope, but Macleod's penalty and a second try for Tuitupou edged the hosts further ahead.
It got worse for Wasps as a Macleod drop goal made the score 25-14 at the break.
A Daly penalty closed the gap marginally after the restart, but Andy Powell's try minutes later secured a bonus point for the home side.
Daly kicked over another penalty soon after, only to see tries from Johnny Leota and Rob Miller move the Sharks out of sight.
Replacement Joe Simpson touched down twice in two minutes for the away side, but it was too little too late as their poor run of form in the league continues.
