Sale director of rugby Bryan Redpath admits that he is "bitterly disappointed" as his side lose their seventh consecutive league game of the season at Worcester.

Sale Sharks director of rugby Bryan Redpath has admitted that he is "bitterly disappointed" with Friday's defeat 23-16 defeat at Worcester Warriors in the Aviva Premiership.

The Sharks suffered their seventh straight loss in the league to leave them seven points clear of safety at the bottom of the table.

"I am bitterly disappointed," said Redpath. "We had enough territory and possession to have won the game, but the facts are that we didn't. I thought it was a game we should have won."

Sale continue their league campaign next Friday when they host London Irish at the Salford City Stadium.
