Danny Cipriani to make Sale debut in Rugby Sevens?

New Sale Sharks signing Danny Cipriani is hoping to make his debut for the club in the upcoming Rugby Sevens series, should his pre-season preparation permit.

Cipriani has only been training with his new club for a week after signing in March, but he has confessed that he would like to play this Friday if his fitness levels are acceptable.

"I've only been here in Manchester a week but in terms of the feel I've had it has been good," ESPN quotes Cipriani as saying.

"There is a great buzz around the city and all the boys seem to love it and I'm very much looking forward to being here.

"[The Sevens is] something I would like to be part of as long as it fits in with my pre-season."

The Sharks will battle Northampton Saints, Leicester Tigers and London Welsh to reach the final.
