Danny Cipriani released from hospital

Sale Sharks player Danny Cipriani has been released from hospital after being hit by a double-decker bus.

The 25-year-old was hit by the vehicle while crossing the road during a night out in Leeds.

The fly-half was admitted to hospital after suffering concussion and also underwent X-rays and scans.

However, the former England international has now been discharged, but it remains unclear when he will be cleared to return to action.
