Sale Sharks move to the top of pool two with a win over Scarlets in the LV= Cup.

Sale Sharks came from behind to take a bonus-point win over Scarlets in the LV= Cup this afternoon.

Andy Fenby helped the visitors to take a lead early in the first half, but Sale fought back, with Richie Vernon adding a try just after the half-hour mark to level the scores.

A Charlie Amesbury try on the cusp of half time ensured that the home side went into the break a score ahead.

An even start to the second half ended when Rhodri Jones was sin-binned for not rolling away from a tackle, allowing Kearnan Myall to extend Sharks' lead while the visitors were down to 14 men.

Charlie Ingall added a try on his debut for Sale to ensure that Sharks top pool two.
