Northampton Saints director of rugby Jim Mallinder has revealed that the club have completed the signing of Gareth Denman from Rotherham Titans.
The 22-year-old, who came through Leeds Carnegie's academy, is regarded as one of the best talents outside of the Aviva Premiership.
"The Championship is one of the toughest leagues to play in if you're a front-row forward, and Gareth will have learned a lot very quickly over the past couple of years," Mallinder told the club's official website.
"We believe that Gareth will make the step up to Aviva Premiership level, and that he has the ability to be successful at Franklin's Gardens over the next few years."
Denman joined the Titans last year.
