Northampton Saints post record turnover

Northampton Saints post a record turnover of £13.175m for the last financial year.

Northampton Saints have posted a record turnover for the last financial year.

The Aviva Premiership club made an £801,314 profit and turned over £13.175m.

"Success on the pitch is inextricably linked to results off it which helps to explain our record turnover and in turn justifies the board's decision to spend up to the Premiership Rugby salary cap ceiling," said chief executive Allan Robson.

Saints begin their Premiership season next Sunday when they host Gloucester.
