Northampton Saints director of rugby Jim Mallinder believes that Leicester Tigers will be tough opponents to beat in tomorrow's Aviva Premiership final.

Jim Mallinder has said that Northampton Saints will have to be at their best to win the Aviva Premiership final tomorrow.

The Saints will take on Leicester Tigers at Twickenham in their first ever appearance in the showpiece.

The club's director of rugby told BBC Radio Northampton: "We want and probably need a performance like against Saracens. If you look at the strength of Leicester, we've got one British Lion going on tour, they've got six.

"They're a quality side. If we play against them like we did here we'll get beaten. They probably have an advantage in that respect, but we've got players who are used to playing in big games.

"I'm motivated to make Northampton the best club in England. It's something we've not done before."

Northampton beat table toppers Saracens 27-13 in the playoff semi-finals earlier this month.
