Northampton Saints hooker Dylan Hartley hit with two-week ban

Hartley suspended for two weeks

Northampton Saints hooker Dylan Hartley has been suspended for two weeks after being cited for an incident against Ulster.

The 26-year-old was cited after striking Ulster's Rory Best during the Heineken Cup clash at the weekend.

Following a hearing by the ERC disciplinary panel, the hooker has been given a two-week ban and will be available to play again from December 24, the tournament organisers have confirmed.

The meeting between the two sides finished 25-6 to Ulster.
