Clark suspended by Northampton

Northampton Saints have suspended flanker Calum Clark 'until further notice' for an alleged incident during last Sunday's LV Cup final against Leicester.

The 22-year-old has been cited over an accusation of breaking Leicester hooker Rob Hawkins's elbow during the final, which Northampton lost 26-14 last weekend.

The former Leeds player is due to face an RFU disciplinary hearing over allegedly committing an act contrary to good sportsmanship for hyper-extending Hawkins's arm during the match.

The club have stated that they will not comment further on the case.
